In our churches there will always be people who misrepresent God to us. Leaders who have their own agenda in mind and not God’s will. John the apostle exposes one such person in the church named Diotrephes. Possibly an elder in the church who was abusing his authority and hurting the sheep of God. People who are driven to accomplish self centered ministries based on hunger for power and self exaltation. John teaches us the dangers that these persons bring as they run their ministries promoting themselves instead of promoting the Lord. Let’s look at the dangers self centered ministries bring into the church.
